APEX | Alpine White M2 on Forged 18" VS-5RS Sprint™ Line Wheels
Alpine White F87 M2 | Featuring APEX 18” VS-5RS Sprint™ Line Wheels Our friend Daniel’s dual-duty OG M2 was a perfect candidate to showcase our new forged wheels. These 18x10/18x11 wheels are an aggressive staggered setup for the OG M2 and Competition models with aftermarket brakes that fully fill the fenders when combined with a track alignment. The VS-5RS design is over a pound lighter per wheel than our Flow Formed ARC-8s in the same 18x10 ET25 fitment while clearance for large aftermarket brake kits is vastly improved over the profile 3 ARC-8s. Behind the wheels, a StopTech Trophy brake kit hauls the car down in heavy braking zones while having plenty of room to breathe thanks to our optimized barrel design. For our customers running the massive 2NH brakes standard on USDM M2 Competition, we have 19” Sprint Line wheels arriving in March next year in both our VS-5RS and EC-7RS designs with more options in the pipeline. Paging BMW owners in the Bay area! If you're interested in free professional photos of your car on brand new APEX wheels, we are looking for volunteers for testfiitting and photoshoots! Volunteers will get copies of the photos, a discount on a set of APEX wheels, and APEX goodies/swag. If you are interested in volunteering, please email us at info@apexraceparts.com with your contact information, location, and a photo of your car. We are currently looking for volunteers with an M2 Competition equipped with the 2NH factory 400mm brakes for 19" Sprint line testfitting but all are welcome. Show us what you've got! If you'd like to take an inside look at what these photoshoots involve, our good friend Blake made a video detailing the process of an 18" test fitment on his F82 M4 recently:

I've been in absolute love with my EC-7R's, but this is really growing on me. They look incredible.
275/305 + the 35 sidewall. This an extreme amount of tire. I love it

I haven't taken any good pictures yet due to the weather (I just put the wheels and tires on this weekend). I've just driven it around the same city Apex HQ is in (since I live there too) a little bit running errands the other day.

Thought I'd share pictures of my set up as well.
265/35/18 285/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tire EC-7R brushed clear Absolutely massive set up from the OEM 19's it came with. The ride is much smoother/more comfortable, looks perfect in every way & handling improved greatly. It also eliminated a lot of the weird steering feel I was getting on the highway with the OEM wheels.

How does the 18x10 +40 fit as a square setup? I don't see this combo on the fitment guide.
2018 F87 with stock suspension -3 degrees front camber, -2 degrees rear camber

Yeah, just camber plates for now. Looking at getting a set of 18x10 square wheels. The bimmerworld wheels are great, but I’ve always been an Apex fan and have bought a few sets of wheels. Would like to try the forged ones this time and I really only see the +40 offset available in forged.

I stuck with the stock stagger after reading feedback from others and planning on more power. Apex makes the VS-5RS in a 18x10 +25 which is perfect for a 275/35/18 RE71RS tire assuming you don’t have an aftermarket suspension like KW or Ohlins R&T. “Identifyings Suspension Types If you’re using coilovers, see the image below to identify which type of coilover spring you have, as it may affect your wheel fitment. Aftermarket F87 M2 Suspensions Known To Reduce Inner Clearance (includes but not limited to): - Bilstein PSS9 & PSS10 - KW Height-Adjustable Spring (HAS) kit - KW Variants - KW Clubsports - Öhlins Road & Track” I run the 18x10 +25 up front with the TCK suspension and clearance is really tight with the spring and the fender clip on the outside but sufficient. Doesn’t rub at all. I pair it with the 18x11 +44 out back, but the 18x10.5 at +40 works just the same. This setup is ideal for 275/295 RE71RS rubber.
