Taking a 350 Dollar Gamble...
I have been going for the black out look on my car. So far its all black and TiAg except for the damn chrome trim. This weekend I am going to take off the chrome trim and sand it down and paint it matte... got the cans of spray and sand paper ready to go.. if i fugg up Tischer is going to make more money off me!!!

yea, with the e92 its different, the trim just sticks out. the trim around the rear passenger doors of the e90 tuck under the weather striping.. i will have to remove the trim to paint them.. this opens up to bends and what not... i bought some of that vinyl wrap and it just looks cheap IMO... I tested it on my friend's car and it looked bad... paint here i go

It's either shadowline or matte black trim, one of which costs twice the other

I'd say Good Luck! I plan to actually take the trim off my e92 over the winter and bring it over to my buddy's shop to get sprayed jet black.

when you take out the window trims, make sure you take the actual trim holder out, not just the trim itself.
i made a mistake by takin out the trim pieces instead of the holders, so i had to buy new window trms haha

its basically a rubber piece with some sort of metal inside of it. and the trim is attached to on the top.
it actually goes into the window slits. sort of hard to explain lol

Yea, I will try and post a DIY... Since my friend is the one that is going to be taking off the trim.. I wanted to spend the 350 but he said that he could do it without incident so we shall see.. we shall see.. if it saves me 330 bucks (350-paint and sand paper costs) I am all for it.. plus there is no way it can be nailed by rocks either (painted the front grill to my e36 once matte and rocks destroyed it)
