Not sure how you can ask this questions this without setting realistic limits on the achievable price.
But no, I'm not selling for $73k or even $80k or $90k. I have my perfect car for now and what would I replace it with that wouldn't ask for a similar premium? |

Everyone would sell it for the right number but the right number to me is not 70k, not even 80k. But if someone gave me 100k for a car I paid 55k for I would let it go.

I was at a local Cars and Coffee and some guy with a new Supra asked this question. I think he was mostly trying to show off to a girl he was with. I think 70-75k would get me to depart with mine. That would give me enough to buy a decent S2K or Z4MR cash.

I would sell for $145,995. Yes, you read that right. Somebody is trying to sell a M2CS for $150K.

I'll sell when I sell, but to make me sell?
I guess I would swap for an M2CS... seriously there is nothing I'd rather have (untill we hit well into 6 figures) at the moment than an M2. If I was silly rich I'd add an AM Vantage, RS6 Avant, or a GT3RS... and still keep the M2C, but in normal world, nope I'm good with what I have.

I'm not that into my car and driving and racing. I enjoy it, but it isn't my only thing to do. So, all of that said, if someone gave me $65,000+ for it, I'd sell it and be slightly ahead on cost. |

Honestly I'd sell for 80k (not that i think the value it will hit 80) and then put that towards a 911

I think around $80K is where I seriously start to consider it. But even then, the car being off the market means there isn't really a new car replacement I'd want.
I think the closest thing would be the CT4-V Blackwing. That's probably where I'd go if the car were *knocks on wood* totaled. But I still think i'd rather have a 2 year old M2C with 17K miles (that were all done by me) than a brand new CT4-V Blackwing, even if I do really like that car. |

Probably 65k... because that would give me back my back my purchase price plus all dealer fees and taxes.
But... the real question is what would I buy? Only the G80 would interest me and I have no interest in paying full msrp for it at $80k... either way I dont think that car is worth $80k.

I'm too attached already.
Probably $90k or more. I haven't ever sold a car for the same reasons.

Okay, so for Shitsandgiggles I went to cars.com to look for a 911. The cheapest S is like $135K (MSRP). WTF? So then, just for a good laugh, I looked for GT3s.
MSRP $194,650 Asking Price $319,650 Yes, you read that right.

I was thinking the exact same question. The problem is that there is nothing else on the market that I’m interested in, at the moment. If someone floated enough cash to get me in a Porsche GT car, I’d do it, but I doubt anyone is going to make that move.
