IND | BMW F95 X5M Alcantara European Sun Visor Set
BMW interiors have certainly come a long way. In recent years, they have become much more luxurious and well-appointed in sharp contrast to the more spartan treatments of old. Even further, BMW M cars nowadays come fashioned with gorgeous Alcantara headliners—including the factory sun visors. Unfortunately for us in the United States, this beautiful aesthetic is spoiled by ghastly warning labels. The European spec sun visor kit is devoid of these airbag warnings, allowing you to enjoy your interior as BMW intended. No eyesores to distract you from the task at hand. As a factory BMW Alcantara set, this retrofit is guaranteed to match with the rest of your headliner material. It’s the ultimate finishing touch to your interior. IMPORTANT! IND is not responsible for compliance. This is a European TUV approved product. Please check your state and federal motor vehicle compliance laws. Product Details:

Worth every penny. I absolutely hate the warning labels NAR vehicles are littered with.

Alcohol will easily remove the US warning labels from the stock sun visors.

Not necessarily on Alcantara. Did it twice before on standard visors without issue. Tried with Alcantara and one of the two was a mess with adhesive residue I couldn't remove. Not looking argue, just a warning for those who are on the fence experimenting. It didn't work out for me.

I did it on our X7 alcantara visors. 91% isopropyl. Let it sit and the label just bubbled up, then pulled off with a tweezer. Gently brushed away any residue with a scuff pad. You would never know they were on there.

It was frustrating but I ended up getting this set from IND because I couldn't find them individually. Oh well. They definitely look so much better without the label. |

Oh wow, never seen that happen. Steam works too if the label is stubborn. You can use an iron and just pump the steam a few times above the label. (Do not put the iron on the label as it will make it stick more and do the opposite of what you're trying to achieve.) On new vehicles it shouldn't be much of an issue it's the older ones where the labels get baked on in the summer or simply turn brittle so when you remove them you wind up doing it in several small pieces.
