M2 CS delivery - France (HS - M-DCT - 2NH - BLK 763M - Cup2)

Here is a small summary of our group delivery to the BMW Welt for 5 members of the BMW M Club France.

Thanks to BMW France, BMW M and BMW Welt for their involvement and their welcome.

Departure July 22 by plane towards the welt,

Woke up 7:00 am towards the BMW Driving experience in Maisach (former military base north of Munich) where we were surprised to see 2 BMW M2 CSs belonging to the circuit, they arrived the day before for us ...

Short safety briefing and some basics of piloting, position of the hands on the steering wheel, mass transfer, calculation of safety braking distance etc.

a small miniature circuit on the wall, nice in the dining room when you don't know what to do with your miniatures

Go to the track: 2 M2 CS and 5 M2 Competition

We were able to compare the 2 M2 and there is no photo the M2 CS has a much better chassis than the M2 C, I did not think the gap was so important on the track.

Presentation of the BMW M4 GT4, because our pilot instructor of the day is a chassis developer on the BMW M4 GT4 and M6 GT3

After a morning on the track, slalom, drift, track lap, we return to the Welt for the meal included in the delivery to the Bavaria Restaurant

When the meal is over, while accompanying them on a tour of the shops, we collect the vehicle registration paper in the private lounges of the welt

We start a private tour of the BMW Welt with a guide in French

Then we go to the private rooms, for a receptionist and the presentation of the M2 CS belonging to the Welt:

and a continuation the dream comes true we go down a few steps and we see our M2 CS turning on the delivery platforms of the Welt:

a small group photo with happy faces of all the happy owners:

little surprise: we were escorted by the 1M Safety car from the 2012 motorcycle GP (with quite a detonation in the exhaust ...)

once out the obligatory souvenir photo in front of the Welt

Then we are invited to a memorable evening called M Kino Night

More than 400 M gathered for an open-air cinema, never seen so many /// M at the same time or BMW presented us the future BMW M3 AND M4

Here is the delivery, followed for me the return to the Cannes dealership to carry out the running-in revision after the 2,000 kms carried out, and also for a delivery in small groups, with the members of the BMW M Club France from the south of France. I will put the pictures to you later

Awesome trip! Thanks for sharing. It's a shame us Americans won't be able to experience ED in the future.

Haven't really been a fan, but Misano blue actually looks good in some of these photos. Still think HS suits the car best though

Congrats on your CS and the beautiful pics of your ED. I picked up two M2's via ED as well and sad that it will no longer be offered.

So envious of you as I'm awaiting my CS and I'm told it won't be here until late October or early November. Just in time for winter
