I’m curious about this as well. Just based entirely on what I have read on these forums it seems that for the front on a m2 comp a 255/35 and 265/30 are a safe fitment. At the rear there is more room with an offset like Richlands. 275/35 safe to pair with the 255 fronts. 285/30 best match to the 265 front and several have run the 295/30 at the rear. All on 19s of course to clear the front brakes.

You may be right with the M2C and yes on the true tire width, too!! I was thinking OG M2 for the 265/35 fronts - I should have clarified. I've seen some posts where folks are saying as long as you're stock height, you're good with that size up front on the OG M2. I allllmost went with 30 series, too, but was real concerned with ride quality & potential wheel damage. (CT roads suckity-suck.) I got my heat gun at the ready if there is any rub. Just wish my damned wheels would get here... LOL

Aaand ordered! Now the grueling wait! I'm glad I emailed first because I learned that those had a customization called "double tint," and that's certainly the color I'm after.

Just Arrived!

Competition Gold - they will be installed tomorrow. The brushed texture on these wheels is second to NONE! Absolutely stunning!! Even in bright, direct sunlight, the gold is silvery/soft - not the STI gold/brassy appearance. There are a lot of silvery/gray undertones that pop out in the shade (still visible in the sun, just less-so).

I've seen a post in another thread on the 763M finish saying folks will be "in shock" when they see actual gold vs reality & the user posts a brassy chrome-gold wheel. Just in case you're on the fence & have seen that post, that brassy-chrome gold finish is NOTHING like the Richland finish, and I think it's not at all an accurate representation of the frozen gold, either. The color you see in these images is what you see in reality.

I mention that post because this finish, while a little more gold-ish & glossier, is very similar in how it's more gold in the sun & softer-subtler in the shade with the silver/gray tones showing more.

Packaging is phenomenal; double-boxed (sturdy boxes), not too much styrofoam, face is covered in thing styrene sheet, then covered in soft cloth net, all packed in a plastic bag.

They look very nice, can't wait to see them mounted. Did you recieve the small "M" badge for the wheels separately? Also is your car lowered?

Thanks,

Yes - RF shipped 4 small ///M emblems for the wheels & also 4 new center caps. (Also a RF logo sticker, but I won't put that on my car.) My car isn't lowered - suspension is totally stock. The tires I got for these wheels are Conti ExtremeContact Sport D/W, 255/35/19 front & 275/35/19 rear. I got the M2 ET44 offset for the rears, too.

I also just noticed my wheels don't have the "Forged" logo on them, which is fine by me - looks cleaner.

Wheels in the shade

Here are some pics of the wheels in the shade - much more subtle gold tone & really shows the grays, blacks & silvers in the brushed texture. The finish is real special on these wheels. Top quality for sure. And the concavity is SA-WEET! Richland Forged is making one hell of a product!

MASHCT are you switching out your tpms, or getting new ones - and if so where are you getting? I just ordered a set of the Brush Tinted Dark for my M2C.

I got new TPMS as I am keeping the stock rims (w/ all seasons michelins) for winter set-up. I got the TPMS from TireRack; they come preprogrammed for your car from them.

I received my wheels today in gloss black. Now the wait for the tires. I think they look great and the color is a very good match with all the other gloss black bits on the car. I'll post more pictures after receiving the tires and mounting the wheels.

Still trying to determine the best choice for suspension.

Gonna look amazing with that HS!! I swore I would never lower the car (I'm old & don't need to hear my bones creak getting in & out!) But now that I have them mounted, and even though they're more flush than stock, the gap seems bigger. I think it's an illusion from a brighter wheel. But I got the itch now...

Mounted and ceramic coated (some early shots)

This wheel looks so different in all kinds of light, it's flippin' cool. I have Conti ExtremeContact Sport DW on the wheels. I love the tire! SUPER quiet when it comes to road noise; bumps are a little loud. Absolutely SMOOOOOTH ride & killer steering response.

Went to the gas station (lost my damn wallet!) and everybody asked about the wheels & got several shout-outs about the car/wheels. I was a proud papa!

How long did it take to get them? I ordered almost 9 weeks ago and was told they are ready for shipping but have not been shipped yet.

I would really prefer not lowering it, but it's begging for it. If I do put a suspension on it, I'd like it to be a real improvement in compliance, and of course handling.

Okay so now what tires? I want to go with Michelin 4's 265/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear. I'm on stock set up and have no intentions of lowering nor do I wish to lower the sidewall to 30's. Will I rub?

I'm with you... Im concerned with scraping & ride quality. I think the stock ride is plenty OK - don't think it's harsh or hard. It's not luxurious, but I ain't driving a Lexus. No need to worsen it, in my view; closing that gap would sure be nice!

RF has one of the best customer service. I bought a set for my E9x m3 and love it. I will probably end up getting a set for my m2 eventually.
