As many of you know my wife and I have an upcoming ED in August to replace one of our F80s. When I was first searching for an allocation one of my three contacts didn't have one available but put me on their dealer list. About a week later one of my other contacts came through with an allocation and I scheduled my ED through him and forgot about the first guy.

Long story short, the first contact just reached out letting me know the allocation is ready to be set up for ED. Not sure if details for build week and time frame but if anyone needs an ED allocation let me know (via PM) and I'll chat with him about having you take my place.

He is a great guy and the dealer is located in TX. My allocation was at ED MSRP with base rates and fees.

EDIT: It looks like it would be for an August/September ED.

Going to bump this once for the poor soul still looking for an ED allocation. If not, I'll just tell my guy to pass it off. I'm sure you could also take this allocation for non-ED.

I can't believe that people aren't interested in this European Delivery with a 5% discount. Has the bottom fallen out of the M2C market?

It might have, I was talking to my CA yesterday and he told me that he just got 3 more allocations for the M2C. I had to wait about 6 months for my allocation, which I recently just completed the ED, so it seems like more cars are becoming available. BTW, if anyone is looking for a M2C in the East Coast, shoot me a PM and I can give you his contacts. Dealing with him is very straightforward and there are never any surprises. Let me know.

I simply would never buy a BMW without European Delivery. I purchased 2 BMW's and done 2 European Deliveries.

I feel lots of people are scared to get out of their comfort zone to travel and drive in new countries. I simply love it since everyday life is a tad boring for me.

That's very cool of the OP to put this on the forum! Before I got my allocation I would have pounced on this one in a heartbeat. I searched for months and even had one dealer laugh at me when I said I wanted to order an M2C and do ED. Most others just said no and wouldn't take my info. I almost gave up after a few months so I have to assume people some people dropped out of the market.

I completely agree. I got back from my first European Delivery experience last month and I'm already thinking about what BMW I should get next to replace my Subaru.

If I do it I think I want to do it for the last model year. I guess end of production is June 2021 so we have a ways to go. Perhaps there will be some new options by then. I have a 2017 so I can wait.

Giving this a quick bump before letting it go.
