New M3s not selling??

I drove by VOB in Rockville MD yesterday and saw at least 6 or 7 M3s.. coupes and sedans sitting out in the parking lot... several of which have been there weeks..

and the cars seem to be overpriced to begin with, honestly $70k for a 3 series? and it makes less torque than the 335

They are stacking up like firewood here. They do have the dual clutch trans models here now. One store just received 4 e93 M3's with the new trans.
The white with black leather looked sweet but $79K....ouch. The standard wheels are not so bad but those Michelins look swollen.

I was on the fenco about purchasing a new M3 or the 335i coupe. Then BMW announced the 0.9% financing on 335i's I could not pass up on that

It's even worse here, our dollar is on par and has been for a while yet a loaded M3 'vert is going for about $98k. Then again a loaded 135 'vert is in the mid-60s so I guess they have to keep things relative but it's out of hand.

Yeah had it been closer to 60k, I would've pounced on it like a puma!

economy and gas is one thing

but the difference between the regular 3 and the M3 is getting alot smaller for the price difference and they seem to want to sell as many as they did before. the price premium can only be justified by only a small number of people imo

Where is here -GTA?

I bet I could get them to work a deal on these. Maybe we could broker some cars.

There are also other cars for 70k that are better... Nissan GT-R for one example.

Except dealers are selling them for over $25k MSRP or ebaying their allocations. How's that waitlist working out? You might get lucky in 2010 or 2011.

Thank you.

Yeah BMW pricing is rather unpleasant by comparison, Mercedes and Audis have suddenly become quite reasonable. A loaded C63 AMG can be had here for only 1-2k more than a loaded E90 335xi for example.

price is 2.5 times more here, while i correctly predicted M DCT will go to 335i E92 in 2009, i shall settle with a 300hp coupe and save the money for some fancy mods instead
