I picked up my msrp 62k white 2018 last week for 57k..
Buy @ 0.9 apr. this is not the current bmw rate of 4.15. Regardless, the same dealership has two white 2019 m2c and both were marked up about 5-10k.. I refuse to pay mark up or 'market price'.. last time i paid 'market price' was for lobster.. |

I haven't reviewed breakdown yet (MSTRP 62K, selling price 55k around), because OTD $62000 is already good to me. This m2 is produced in 2018 Feb. When I bought it, there was 33 miles on it. I guess some people have test drives before.

I just picked up a new 2018 M2 in SoCal for $2000 off sticker. Not much dealing to be done on a manual transmission, but I like that deal better than paying $5-7k over sticker on a 2019. Financing wasn't super attractive from BMW either, but I was happy with the price on the car at $56k.

OTD usually mean including tax and registration. You'll have to break down the numbers for us here...

I worked a deal to finance it outside BMW Financial. Their best rate was 4.59% for 5 yrs and my bank did it for 2.94%. |

Just got almost 10% off MSRP on a MY18 exactly in the specs I wanted, and waiver of a couple of other fees. Dealer was great to work with.

so $63,345 with 48% residual, customer cash down $3100. DMV $495, Cash Cap Reduction $44.62. Term 36, Money Factor 0.00206, Total Adds to cap $63300.38, base monthly $1106.77, Tax rate 9.5% $105.14, Total monthly $1211.91
Here is the question Total Initial fees $1042.75, Total upfront fees $701 are these negotiable? is the Money factor negotiable in a lease?

^ Ouch $1200 /mo is $85-90k M3/M4 lease territory and those leases aren't stellar right now either. $200 more and you're rolling an M5. I believe that money factory is being marked up and the low M2C residuals really crush lease deals. Considered financing the car or are you stuck with a lease for business purposes? Have you looked at the Penfed Auto Saver Loan or BMW Select at all?
To answer your question, typically no those fees aren't negotiable. The "initial fees" usually include your first month payment, CA registration fee (~$600), documentation fee ($80), acquisition fee ($925), and tire tax. I would ask for a breakdown of those costs to confirm. Last edited by billspreston; 11-08-2018 at 01:50 PM.. |

Can anyone help me figure out these numbers? They don't make complete sense to me. I have asked what the MF is with no response as of yet.
2018 M2. They are advertising $7,000 off MSRP. I have 3 remaining payment left on my M4 ($3,087 total in payments). MSRP: $66,825 Discount: $3,913 (after covering my remaining lease payments) Price: $62,912 Lease payment of $919 monthly. 36months/12K miles Total Rebates: $2,000 Total rebates/cash: $2,000 Acquisition fee: $925 Advanced Payment: $919 Upfront charges: $4,321.87 Total cap reduction: $2,000 Residual: $34,749 Due on delivery: $5,241.86 The out of pocket seems absurd to me. Do you think there are other rebates I could explore? Thank you in advance Last edited by grzeszja; 11-29-2018 at 10:57 AM.. |

It looks like with a monthly payment of $919 that they are marking up the MF to around .00201 from .00182.
I come up with the following for your NJ lease:
