Watch a BMW M2 Competiton in Sunset Orange metallic on the Ascari race track. Don't forget to pan around since it's a 360° video.

The driver is Nico Menzel, a race car driver in the BMW Motorsport Junior program.

The last week of march this year we were at the Nordschleife and I happened to meet Christian Menzel(Nico Menzel's father, also pro driver) in the restaurant near Parkplatz!

It wasn't very busy (it was about 18:00 monday) and they were shooting some footage for a car programme, I talked to him personally for about 10 mins showing my M2 (his comment: nice but too heavy ) and other stuff like world cup football(soccer) Very cool and nice guy too.

I'd love the chance to drive that track, but the ascari programs are pretty pricey. Can't the people from Asetto Corsa scan it as a test facility for my VR Sim? Maybe BMW could build a purpose built version for m car promotion...OBMWc

Nice video in the end, but horrible commentary. Things like that it sounds brilliant and you hear the ASD in the background. LOL In the end the audio is only inside since audio from the outside would be only wind noise.

Still fun video, but since I am in YouTube video production on a daily basis I cringe seeing what they make. It is so bad for YouTube and so crap presented.

Every piece of content on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube feels so made and marketing driven that it breathes being fake and I simply do not believe what the guy says.

It is so simple to do it differently but internal rules and compliance often prevents companies from doing it properly. You just need one person to stick out his neck and do it decently and tell his dinosaur or fossil boss that the online world has changed. Marketing is not only dead trees and using your own words.

It amazes me how much potential there is and how little big car companies are using the honest passion of the audience to convey their message.
