Question on Scheduled Servicing

Hi All,

My M2 was built in August last year, and I took delivery of it on October 31st, 2017.

The car has begun reminding me that I am due for my first service (a Chassis Check) ... and I've noticed that other scheduled services (for Brake Fluid and Engine Oil) are scheduled in the month of August (in 2020 & 2019 respectively).

I'd have thought that these would be done in November (or late October) on the anniversary of delivery...? Has the dealer simply forgotten to update the service information for the car as part of the delivery process so that the reminders line up with the build month ... or does BMW want to check these things on the anniversary of the build (and not delivery)...?

Advice and experience of other owners would be appreciated

My LCI is the same, time scheduling linked to the July 2017 build date (I also managed to figure fit in 15K km of enjoyment as well
