29U vs 2QT Wheel Comparison Thread

Will someone do the entire community a favor and post comparison pics in this thread of the two wheel options. I cannot decipher between the 29U (black) and the 2QT (Silver).

I spent a few minutes trying to figure out how they were different - very nicely done.

If you want to know what 29U black wheels look like, check out the first M2C that was just delivered.

This guy actually picked up his M2C at the Welt for Euro delivery and has the black wheels. https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1517501

You can see that they look silver. It's because much like the 437m wheels that came on the N55 M2 it just has a tinted clear coat over the silver and BMW is calling this black. The "silver" wheels will just be brighter silver I assume. They both have black inner barrels according to the images on online the configerator.

I've read his thread extensively. However, his "black" wheels look nothing like the black wheels on the US website configurator. Another member suggested they might have given him the wrong wheels...which I won't want to comment on. Time will tell once more of these vehicles are delivered.

If so, BMW has put the wrong wheels on several cars that we have seen pics of based on the VIN.

Did they put the wrong wheels on every single car we have seen and have the VIN for?

That's not what I said. In my previous post I wrote that another forum member suggested the vehicle in question might have been fitted with the wrong wheels. I also said I would not want to comment on that. No one has a definitive answer on what the the two options look like side by side. The pictures I posted would seem like a start.
