Picked up M2 LCI. Interior and Improved Gauges in Action

Waited for the LCI, signed the order on May the 13th, the car arrived at the dealer last week and I picked it up yesterday.

Below are some pics which show some of the LCI changes. If you want to know something specific, ask and I'll make photo's/movies of it.

I so want the upgraded instruments...even the digital speedo display is a decent size now.

More on the instruments too. Are they backlit all time? ie: when the headlights are off?

The instruments: They are backlit all the time and always in white (even at night). The rest of the dashboard (climate control etc) turns red at night.

I'll make a short movie of the interior later today.

The dash is a huge improvement. Hopefully the instrument cluster fits the old car too.

Is there anything new instrument cluster shows but pre LCI one doesn't?

I like it and definitely will do a retrofit if possible.

I did not know the LCI models was already in delivery... Looks nice, especially the dash (instrument cluster)... The radio and new design of there right carbon insert does not fully convince me at this point...

Can you take photos/video of the headlights (on/off/high beam/Low beam /turn signals, etc.) same for the rear lights as well?

Also would be curious to see if the start up animation is any different from pre lci on the new gauge cluster and I drive screen.

If you could turn on all the driving aids so we could see how they look when activated on the new cluster. It looks like several things moved around / changed size.

Some views of the new dash from the passenger side, showing the passenger air vent and also a shot of the new stitching and design closer from the top.

Maybe a quick drive showing the gauge cluster and some exterior shots with lights on?

Also, are you able to display oil temp now as some have speculated?

congrats! what country are you in?

can you take pictures of front and rear turn signals? I want to know if they are LEDs or halogen bulbs.

Interior materials? Are they any different than 2017? How do they feel?

Stitching? Legit blue everywhere or stamped on the dash?

Did you ask for chrome finisher on the interior trim?

I'm guessing the regular 2er gauges turn red at night similar to the f10 5er and the f10 m5. In out 5er it's backlit white during the day but amber at night. I believe the m5 stays white always.

So from your video, the temp gauge provides an actual Celsius or Fahrenheit measurement now, instead of the pre-LCI "blue-red" bar? Is it still a combined water and oil temp, or separate gauge for each?

There is only one gauge and looking at the icon I assume it's only the oil. No other indications of anything else.
