brand new 335 coupe logo has no "i"
I just took delivery on 4/23 of my 335i with sparkling graphite, sport pkg, premium pkg, and 19" wheels. The car drives like a dream.
A friend noticed that the logo only states "335" on the trunk, NOT "335i". They're ALL 335i's, right? Not just 335? I'm shocked at their attention to detail and would deliver a car to me like this with only 4 miles on it. I don't think anything could be done about this really, but I just want to see what BMW would say about this. Do they really give a crap? I seriously doubt I'd get any satisfaction. Any ideas? Right, there are only 335i's and 335xi's..the AWD version. There's no residue of the 'i' at all? If that is the case, I'm just going to assume it's a freak accident from the factory.
If you drive to your dealership, I'm almost certain they'll give you the 'i' for free. |

Let's get this straight. Somewhere between the factory and delivery the dealer gave you the car and you got all the way home without noticing the "i" is missing yet you're sophisticated enough about BMW's to be on this site? I'm calling "BS" on this one.

I'm sure that the OP was so excited and just want to go out and drive his baby. At the point of delivery you can be blinded by the excitement.

when the cars are delivered on the truck the front cap is always taken off so they can hok the cars in. sometimes dealerships "f" this up and forget to install them back in. and as far as the i goes at Levin BMW in Schererville IN we have had six different cars come in badged wrong. we had a 335i come in as a 335xi for example. this is not a rare occurance

Why do you think debadging is so cool? What does it really prove? If you want people to think that you have a 7 series instead of a 3 series, those people really have no idea of the difference.

Without the "i" you might actually have a 335 with carburetors.
