looks like there's a pretty good number of M2 owners in SoCal now - so i'm thinking maybe its a good time to get together and go for drive? Meet in the morning to get to know each other/get coffee, go do some canyon runs, head to a restaurant for lunch - or if a local shop is willing to host a bbq, then go home or more driving. let's see if we can get the largest group of M2 owners together?

I'd definitely be interested. Somewhere fun, out of these urban restriction and hopefully not too out of the way is preferred.

Since I've only seen one other M2 out in the wild, that sounds like a great photo shoot opportunity and a chance to meet other local M2 enthusiasts.

When I try and track my BMW on the website, the status is on "Order documented". Dealer said maybe July through September, so it's gonna be a while...

SSR Performance holds a meet on the last saturday of every month. since they're in Santa Ana, we might be able to use that as our initial jump off point before cruising to Dana Point via PCH, get lunch & gas, then carve thru Ortega.

Jump-off meeting spots: Cars & Coffee in Corona meets every Saturday at Saleen, or SSR Performance in Santa Ana has an meet on the last Saturday of every month.
Preliminary Itinerary: Meet at the jump-off spot, cruise to either Dana Point via PCH (if we get any SD people checking in for this) and take Ortega Hwy and other local roads; or we can head to Angeles Crest or Mulholland depending on where most folks are coming from.
