That carbon fiber roof looks so appropriate. Sounds pretty nice too.

It looked fast when he was coming towards the camera at the start, but am I being daft? When he was taking the corners I spent the entire time thinking, speed up go faster into the corners and brake far far less, he basically seemed to crawl around them like he was in the pouring rain? Maybe I'm just a mad bastard haha

Interesting, it looks like they opted for 20" wheels for a race setup? I didn't watch with the volume on, maybe they specified something different.
BTW, that's the best treatment of the front fender "fangs" I've seen. Love the exposed white edge. |

I'm waiting for comments on the shitty sound, and how this is such a terrible idea and why would you do that to an M2.
But I'm glad we got the mirror situation out of the way.

Ok first question, does this car have a blow off valve? I've watched the video twice and I swear I hear one on corner entry/braking/downshifting.
Second, WHY IS HILLCLIMB NOT A THING IN THE US?!? I'd be so down... ///Mike |

Small world. That is my old stomping ground. I grew up not far from there (Thun, BE). Looks like fun doing a hillclimb up the Gurnige, but I have to say, as much as I love the M2, they sure don't sound all that exciting. I'll be keeping my E46 M3 for the time being.

Hill climbs are a thing in the US. The SCCA hosts various events: www.google.com/#q=scca+hill+climb Also, the most renown hill climb is held in Colorado: http://www.ppihc.com/

The want is strong here !
Sounds OK to these ears and nice to see no breakfast bar tacked onto the trunk either. It's obvious this is a well sorted car by the way it turns into a corner round this circuit. I'll be well pleased if BMW comes up with something like this as long as the cage is an option |
