ultimate care/ultimate car + 1 bundle

going to place order for M2 with dealer this week (I hope - if he tells me his allocation includes me) anyway I pretty much know what I want but was thinking about the ultimate care ($600) and + 1 bundle ($2000). My previous ownership experience with BMW suggests these things may well be worth it if I plan on keeping the car beyond 40-50k miles (pretty sure I will want to) -- interested in thoughts regarding these items from people here. Thanks

BMW site says that ultimate care includes wipers/brake pads /manual trans clutch replacement (I am getting a manual)

the plus one bundle extends the warranty for another year to 4 yrs/50k miles as I understand it.

Can Ultimate Care be added after delivery is taken? I may add it for 600 bucks. Does the Ultimate Care bump the maint to 4 years/50k miles or just add brakes, clutch etc for the 3 years 36K maint window?

I have owned 10 BMWs and generally drive them to 100K, 9 of them used the warranty and paid for itself, I have one to go that is my M5 with about 47K left on the warranty which just kicked in 3k miles ago..if you are planing on driving you M2..like it should this is no brainer..watch for the warranty prices to increase over the next couple of years..Do it now

It just adds clutch, brakes, etc to the standard 3yr/36k maintenance.

Ultimate Care adds what you stated.

Ultimate Care +1 bumps to 4 year and mileage to 50K

Don't forget clutch applies to DCT, too.

If someone needs a clutch at 36K or 50K they are abusing the car.

If someone drives <= 12K / year they will be borderline needing front brakes and rotors.

If someone needs brakes and rotors before 36K they are autocrossing, tracking or driving very aggressively on the street and probably the reason why BMW dropped the maintenance plan for those items and dropped the 4th year and extra 14K.

The extended BMW care may be worth it to some but I personally don't drive much at all. For the past 10 years I barely put in 40k miles in my car given my short commutes and rarely any long drives out of town. The extra BMW maintenance care wouldn't help me since my car will still be fairly new. Also this helps maintain my car value if I ever decide to sell it then I would have the lowest mileages around.
