When will the first customer M2 actually be delivered in the U.S. ?
I know there has been discussion on April 16 being the actual launch date in the U.S. I know my car isn't the first HEA car in the U.S. But it is on the boat now and should hit Charleston on the 21st. I'm picking up at the performance center and have a request in to get a delivery date. Haven't gotten an answer other than 4 weeks back saying that the car hadn't passed epa yet. That issue is now proven to be behind us. Does anyone in the U.S. Have a firm date for pickup yet? If so, when?

That is true! I need to focus on that a little more instead of the seagulls.

I talked to a genius today and she said my car was set to release to carrier at the end of the month. It is shipping out of Galveston (new port) which means that if what she said is true, the car would arrive well ahead of 4/16.
Message taken with a grain of salt. |

Long-time lurker. CA called yesterday to tell me he was able to swap my modifiable order for a HEA that's in port. Cars will be released to dealers in late March. They can go on display right away, but can't be driven away by their owners until April 16. He added that 150 M2s will be imported into the U.S. each month. On average, every dealer gets one every 60 days.

My car has been sitting in Brunswick GA for 2 weeks. Friday my SA gave me the bad news of 4/16. My car is literally a 3 hour straight shot from house, but I have to wait 41 days to get it. I'm also tentatively scheduled for performance delivery, but if I'm not scheduled for 4/16 I'll take dealer delivery.

My dealer said same thing until Friday. I think BMW put the word out about 4/16 & no sooner. I wonder if that UAE early delivery made them spell it out to dealers. It really is BS
