Id keep the Audi. Not for it being a better car, but it is a nicer car than a 3 series. They both are similar in performance, both are 4 wheel drive. The V8 sounds better in my opinion, and again overall I think the car is a little better in terms of age.

IMO get the 335. I actually just drove a 2008 S4 with the same V8 and was rather unimpressed. It feels much slower than my 335xi and has a ton of rattles on the interior and my 2008 doesn't have any. I think the build quality is better and the ergonomics in general are a bit better in the 335. Just my 2 cents.

I don't believe so.. If the timing chain tensioners need to be changed (they do) it'll be a few grand because they're against the firewall so the engine needs to be removed. Almost for any maintenance, the whole front end needs to be removed so it costs a good amount more.

Test drove both S4 and 335 xdrive and decided to go with 335 because 335 feels a bit more nimble. I really liked the double clutch or the manual gearbox in the S4 but didn't like steering feedback (light is not the problem, but it does not tell you much about what it is doing), the fixed paddle shifters are really confusing when the wheel is upside down (they works fine in a race car since you will rarely turn the wheel upside down but it just does not work in a road car), and the seats feel like they are for really fat people...too wide! I thought at 6' 200lb I'm already fat enough but appearantly not...and there are way too many unnecessary buttons on the center console.

335xi has just 54k KMs this is a huge point in favor of keeping the car.
Never driven Audi so I cannot say anything about that, but if ppl say the steering is soft n numb, that's a point in favor of selling this one. |

Do you have a E90 or a E92 335? IMO the E90 LCI 335 with M package looks more aggressive than the S5 but the E92 looks very soft~especially looking from the side at the tail section

e92 335i looks smaller than s5, i think it is not wide as s5 but audi always audi whatever how you modified. The bmw is different if you pay attention to modified, it will have a big different, but don't have much money T.T
