I think AA single into stock muffler sounds better. Deeper tone.

If I didn't sell my M2 my plan was to go catless primary into a custom Y pipe into the N55 M2 M performance muffler.
I still have the muffler and catless downpipes lol

Checked their site. I don't see any products for an EL. Also every exhaust video is misleading( from everyone). Picking up the different layers of exhaust noise is too difficult and most just post their best glory shots.

It will be very hard to know if it's what you really want Unless you can sit in one and go for at-least an hour long cruise testing tons of rpms, different take offs etc and just regular driving

Youre best option is to ask around your area for people you can meet up with different setups

The beginning does sound great, although it's hard for me to believe that's the real sound outside the car, and I'm never in my car revving like that, so the true sound is probably more like at :34 seconds, which is a bit normal really.

When the axle back is installed I will compile clips comparing stock to AA mid-pipe into stock utter to full AA. This will all be done with camera stuck to rear LP using the same camera, driving the same route.

I spent months listening to online clips before choosing the single mid over the EL. It's like the old H-pipe vs X-pipe in the V8 world. H-pipe has a deeper, muscle car tone while the X-pipe has a more raspy, pitchy tone. To me, the AA single is more like the H-pipe and the AA EL is more like the X-pipe experience.

Anyway, the AA single has a great note but, I am adding the axle back because I'm ready for more volume.

IMO valvetronic sounds the best. People sleep on it. I don't know why.

To me the best so far would be the Stone system. Not too loud and has just the right tone... I steer clear of decat downpipes of any kind, the sound is a big no-no for me
