Best SoCal Shop?

Hey all,

Looking for your input on the most trustworthy shop with attention to detail.

I am looking to get my crankhub upgraded so I can tune my car. I also plan on bench unlocking my ECU for ECUTEK.

The shops I am considering so far:

StudioRSR
Lang Racing Development
European Auto Source
SSR

Thanks!

I've done a few cosmetic things and a tune at EAS and they did a good job for me. Haven't tried the others.

EAS is a trip for me but prefer to take it to them 90% of the time.

EAS is pretty much the go to in the area for our cars. They have a ton of experience with our platforms. They're the only shop I use for my car.

Kevin at EAS is also great to work with. Super responsive via phone or email and very knowledgeable about the M2.

Yes, all my basic mods have been installed by EAS. I see no reason to go anywhere else.

There are plenty to choose from for the basics. However the ones that consistently go above and beyond, in my experience, have been SD Garage and SpeedLogic

Ive had my post-warranty service work done for my previous f30 and current f87 by m o d a u t o / m o d b a r g a i n s in La Habra.

I have had SSR do the installs for my downpipes and exhausts since Mod won't install downpipes for legal reasons.

Recommend both! Kevin at Mod and Rod at SSR are who you would want to speak with.

Can’t speak to the other places, but can vouch for EAS.

I’ve been going to EAS since 2011 for multiple cars for upgrades and maintenance. They’re honest and do consistent work. I’ve never had a bad experience.

+1 for EAS for fair pricing and consistently good work. Drove there from SD just to have most of the major work done

Pit Stop Motor Tuning & it's not even close. No knock against the other shops though.

Lots of shops in socal!

If you are in San Diego area, check out SD garage. They have an in house tuner for Ecutek as well. The tuner is very involved in tuning cars for the track.
