Rear fender stone guard like classic 911 version

I've searched around and just can't find anything that's like what I'm looking for. Does anyone make (and has anyone seen) a black stone guard for the M2 like what you'd see on a 911 (picture below)? I think it might look pretty good on the M2, but haven't seen anything similar. I'd like to remove the clear OEM PPF which gets noticeably dirty at the edges.

Thanks!

Surely it's just a black version of the protective film that's already fitted?

Well, yeah, but I can't find anywhere to get it pre-made. That's what I'm trying to get at.

So, you want black protective film, cut to the same shape as the stock item. Pretty much any firm that does Wraps should be able to source the colour you want in the appropriate thickness and cut it to shape before fitting.

There was a magnetic stone guard that was an aftermarket part for the Z3. They were made out of magnetic vinyl. Here is a link to the vendor.

Really close to my concept, but that version looks a little larger than what I was thinking.

Thanks for sharing the pic @OGM2!

its larger but it will protect what needs protecting. The stock size ppf does not protect everything, I have little rock chips above it and the worst of all is on the rocker.

Magnetic idea is cool but not sold out on it not scratching the hell out of your paint when starts getting dirty, if it moves a bit its going to scratch.

I had the magnetic ones on my 997.2, this is never a problem as long as you clean and dry the area thoroughly before removing and putting them back on.

I had satin black vinyl laid over the OEM PPF and cut in the same shape because the OEM PPF was yellowing.

Nice. I think that would look pretty good on LBB.

Any shop with a vinyl plotter can cut it out for you with whatever color/material pleases you.
