A hole in the roof, DCT, 2 dog seats in the back but tons of aftermarket goodies. An oxymoron of a M2C :

I use my moon roof basically every time I drive. It totally makes the interior feel more spacious and let's in the perfect amount of light. Wouldn't want a car without it!

Update: After a few days I do want to point out that there is very mild drone at roughly 2.7k RPM with flaps open while accelerating. If you're someone looking for absolutely no drone at all in all driving modes, this combo might not be for you.

But! I am going to the shop next Friday to have them listen and possibly try different clamps. I believe there shouldn't be any drone with flaps open with this setup so let's see.

Thanks for the update, waiting with bated breath for the next one.
I hate how every option I've seen so far seems to have some sort of drone.

Yeah it seems most have some mild form of drone but maybe that's expected when you're switching out two parts instead of just opting for either the midpipe or the exhaust. If you do decide to do only one, the issue comes down to: do I want better sound for a cheaper price (midpipe) or do I want better sound and remove the ugly diaper + new exhaust tips (much more expensive).
Personally if I had to only choose one, I'd go with the exhaust. The back of the car has dramatically changed and you'll get a deeper tone also.
I'll keep you posted next week when I visit the shop.

I will be ordering mine and want the same tips. Any info would be appreciated!

They look fantastic. Can you confirm zero drone with the valves closed?

Not yet, unfortunately. X-ph had sent me a Remus Race exhaust (their mistake). I already sent it back to exchange for the Remus Sport. Mid-pipe hasn't arrived yet either. I think I have listened to your comparison video at least 3 times daily, if not more since you've posted. It sounds soooo good! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Have you done BMC or any filters by any chance? Any other performance mods?

So far 0 drone but again I haven't had the chance to do serious highway driving. My commute during the week doesn't call for it. I will be driving on Thursday so I can confirm again then.

No other performance mods have been done. Some cosmetics. I still find myself wishing it was a bit louder but not enough to change it if that makes sense

I added BMC filters to mine (removed carbon filters too). The increase in turbo spool and exhaust noise due to increase in airflow was pretty sweet, even with just the stock exhaust. I'd imagine once you add them with this set up it'll be where you want it. If not then just wait til the warranty ends and add downpipes.

Does the filter actually give a little more sound to the spool? If so I might look into it.

Not as much as downpipes would, but I deff hear more turbo spool. Especially once I start climbing the RPMs. Replacing was easy I just used the BMW DIY GUY's video on it.

Right on...the sound and looks have DEFINITELY skyrocketed, your M2C is proper good now! Sounds super

And those CF tips...wowzer, they are money, so much better than any other offerings: hands down, Remus CF tips > Dinan, MPE, Akra, etc...

Well played sir!

Thank you sir!

The tips are beautiful but I have noticed that it is indeed sticking out too far. Hopefully the shop can fix that tomorrow. Also, there is definitely drone at 2.5-3k RPM. Not the worst but I'll be trying new clamps to see if it helps seal any unwanted noise. Other than that, I love the looks and love the sound. If the drone truly is because of my setup, then I can't say I would want a louder setup since that would only increase the drone.

I would like to take a minute to share my opinion on this set up. Nick was kind enough to take me for a ride today and hear it first hand. I have had many modified cars from American muscle, VW/Audi and many BMW's. Basically all have had aftermarket exhaust set ups. Based on my experience, here are my thoughts.

I believe the drone with the valves open is simply a product of the additional volume. By no means it is bad, it's just a tad louder than what you would want while cruising around using the car as a car.

Once the valves are closed it has zero drone. The fact that you can close the valves makes me think it is the perfect set up for those sensitive to drone or loud exhaust set ups.

The actual sound of the set up is very good. It has the clean inline 6 tone that I believe many here are seeking.

The actual exhaust portion is completely tucked up and out of sight. This is exactly what I am after aesthetically.

Frankly, I love it!
