Do EZ Detail/Speed Master brushes scratch?

Hey guys,

Recently got a '18 BSM (currently in the shop getting full ppf + ceramic coating) and more recently got bit by the detailing bug.

Ordered a bunch of stuff including a pair of EZ detail brushes (large and small), but now I'm wondering if these brushes will scratch up wheels/barrels…

Anyone have any experience using these? Any scratches or nah?

I think you should be good on the wheels/barrels... I know that Matt at Obsessed Garage uses them, as well as Phil @ Detailer's Domain - imagine they should be safe.

They won’t scratch your wheels but they will splash water all over you if you’re not careful how you use them. That’s the only annoyance with them. They work okay but won’t clean as good as microfiber pads. When mine bites the dust, that’s the direction I’ll go.
