If this midpipe/exhaust ships in January, it will arrive alongside my carbon goodies and it will be a great month

Thanks also can you confirm that it's compatible with their old UEL midpipe? On your website if you choose No midpipe purchase with the exhaust it asks if you're OEM midpipe or AA midpipe, I assume that's for the old UEL AA midpipe?

I believe the difference is the old one comes as one piece (midpipe and muffler) so its a two in one solution.

This new one is simply the muffler. Can attach to your OEM midpipe after cutting off the OEM muffler or the aftermarket AA single (and/or) equal length midpipe.

Active Autowerke signature exhaust: full sytem with the single midpipe

The new system is an axle-back that you can pair with the equal length or the single midpipe
its a different muffler with different piping as well

Is this system - muffler plus ELMs direct bolt on no cutting necessary?
Also what is the weight saving compare to the stock muffler plus mid pipes?

The first picture is the full cat-back
the second one is the axle back.

Catback does not need any cutting, axle-back needs cutting if you are keeping the stock mid pipe. If you are adding an aftermarket midpipe, no cutting required.

Ok thanks, what about the weight?
Also what benefit does Active mid pipe/s provide compare to stock ones and does this system add power at all?
Sorry for so many questions, just trying to find the right catback system for the car I don't have yet.

I don't have the weight, please check with Active directly.

AA midpipes have shown HP increase per their dyno charts.

The biggest advantage of the midpipes is the sound upgrade.

Their single midpipe eliminates the S55 raspiness for a clean deep tone without the metallic sound on high RPM.

The equal length midpipe transforms the sound to almost a naturally aspirated engine with a balance sound increase.
