Downpipes upgrade help

I'm ready to go stage 2 with my car and am currently looking at downpipes. Emissions aside I already have Remus Race rear with Active Autowerke single midpipe. I don't want the car to be obnoxious so I'm only looking at catted downpipes. I'm trying to make a selection between AFE Twisted steel, Racing Dynamics, Agency Power, and Wagner Tuning downpipes. Which one of these will have a perfect fit with my AA single mid? Anyone with any experience of these please chime in

They all should fit just fine with the Midpipe, Wagner is the highest quality downpipe out of the options mentioned. They also use higher-quality cats.

I'd go Wagner just for the fact it would be crazy loud otherwise.

I had a set of the Wagner's on my first M2C. Great product.

I also had them mated to a AA single midpipe...

I pulled them off the car after it was totaled and they are for sale.

I have a buyer, but if he backs out I'll repost them in the F/S section...

Whatever you do make sure you get the higher quality cats.

Especially if your going to run the car at the track with the high EGT's that the tune produces...(more boost)

What about the Active Autowerke downpipes, anyone tried those or are those a newer product?

If the CEL is a concern, Active Autowerke

If you are not concerned about the CEL, Wagner or Evolution Racewerks.
I had the Evolution Racewerks on my M4, their quality is second to none.

^^Cel is not a concern, I'm running bootmod3. Is the Evolution Raceworks catless? Is it going to be a lot louder than a catted like Wagner Tuning with AA single mid and Remus race rear? When you had it, what was your mid and rear setup? Any drone?

Not familiar with these but I have the Stone catted downpipe fitted and it's great. Good choice not going decat. It is loud and obnoxious, can't stand it.

If you want to not be obnoxious I will point you to the ARM resonated catless downpipes. No need for cats. These are silent and sound the same on start up. No need to shell out money for catted to lose performance

The resonated downpipes are an excellent option if you want a sound between catless and catted.
It's not the same as catted; it's louder.

You do not lose performance with catted unless you are making over 600 whp, and even then, it's only ~10-20whp.

As I mentioned, resonated is a good option; I just can't entirely agree with the reasons you mentioned

I pulled the trigger on the Wagner Tuning ones alone with some other goodies from Mike, now I'm just playing the waiting game.

I don't really see any reason to go catless as the car will be daily driven with occasional track sessions. I'm not really aiming for big power gains, stage 2 is enough for me. I also hate the smell of catless exhaust fumes
