Hey guys, heading out to a show up in Willow Springs and she'll be having her first track day finally

It's also a car show so you won't have to track if you don't wish to. They're doing drag races as well.

This Sat the 7th. Let's roll out there together.

Looks pretty cool. The info on IG isn't super helpful for me. Any idea what the price is for an M2C owner who just wants to look at cars and meet people? I have no interest in showing or racing this early into ownership haha

I'll drive up and over the 2 to get there as I have nothing else planned tho!

This looks sick, but it's going to be 111 in palm springs on Saturday. Can't think of a better way to blow your motor than tracking it in triple digit temps.

Yah, it's meant to be 102 in Rosamond and the track has 0 shade. Guess I'll drive up early and bring my sun umbrella haha

Yeah they post so much sometimes the general info gets lost. They're not charging anything to attend but there's a track entrance fee of $15, that's always there regardless of what event is taking place inside.

Very true and I wouldn't either if that were the case. The track is in Rosemont, CA and like any desert, the temps fluctuate like crazy. The time tracking starts is at 7:30am and it's actually cold out. Forecast shows 7am (track meeting) at 65 degrees up until 86 degrees at noon so it's looking pretty cool so far. Luckily it's a show too so you don't have to track if you choose not to.

I'll be rolling out of Pasadena over the 2 to get there and I'll likely pay for VIP parking. Gonna get gas and hit the road by 730. I'll be listening for exhausts I might want for my m2c haha

I know what you mean, the break-in was like torcher and it took me 2 months to put on the miles... All good now!

You're right about that, it is ideal to go in the morning. Ever since covid started it's gotten busier in the morning with hikers so I'm experimenting different times. Envisioned the sunset reflecting off the LBB paint in those mountains so I thought it was worth the shot lol.

I'm down for the following Saturday too!

Cool I'll keep in touch. I will say that during covid I went on a weeknight up there at sunset and it was EMPTY. Really great light and nice weather.

Unfortunately it looks like ACH is "closed" for a bit longer, they're saying Sept 22.

The one I miss driving most Tujunga > AFH > ACH. Anyone else?

Hell to the yes! That's the lap I take when I need a quick canyon itch to be taken care of lol. Start Tujunga and end my way back down ACH.

Hopefully soon it'll open we'll do a run there.

Heading out to a Toy Drive this Sunday (12/12) followed by an ACH run. Anyone willing to join me to scare some hikers (preferably cyclists) on that fine afternoon?
