-2.6 rear camber

I've had a few highway bumps provide a little rear rub feedback (at 85+ mph) otherwise driving the vehicle hard I haven't experienced anything. The ride is really comfortable (surprising to me).

I think if you were okay with going to 255/30/19 and 285/30/19 then I would do that. I couldn't wait any longer.
Thanks, are the rear arch challenges on the outer lip ? 37 for an 11 is quite aggressive, might be worth looking at the heat gun method I’ve seens (carefully heat and soften the liner where rubbing and push in when soft and hold so it resets)

It would be fine with a 285/30/19, I am rubbing at high mph, large sweeping bumps. The -2.6 camber definitely helps a ton.

I have a roller and a heat gun, and plan to mold the liners the best I can. I dislike rolling lips (had to do it on my WRX, STI and Golf R), and don't love the change in geometry that it causes on the lines down the side profile of the vehicle.

Tks, If I cant make the 285/35 work Id rather run 275/35 than 285/30. I think the car looks too fragile on 30 profile tyres. Plus the feel of very low profiles I'm not a fan of. 285/30 is 7mm reduction in ride height and vs stock as opposed to 7mm increase from stock so both the same amount out just in different directions. Perhaps 255/275 is the right way to go ! I think your tyres look great though !

I sized up to a 275/35/18 square setup on my TEs.
Finished dialing in the new suspension (Fortune Auto 500s) last weekend and have been making ride height adjustments all week.

Very minimal rubbing still, but I think part of that is because my spacers are too aggressive and the sidewall on the tires are so square. I'll keep experimenting until I can get the closest possible fitment without rubbing.

Hows the ride on those fortune auto with swift springs? Better than stock? Comfortable?

It's definitely very smooth! Stiffer than stock for sure, but quite compliant over bumpy roads. The difference is mainly on track - significantly less bouncy compared to HAS kit I previously had on the car. Overall, with damping set to about 8 clicks from full soft, I'd say it's quite livable on a daily basis.

It still rubs very very minimally over irregular bumps on the highway. I went a touch more aggressive in the front since then, dialing the camber to about -3.8 and running a 20mm spacer for 18x9.5 +18 front.
Rears are the same as before. For track use, I take the spacer off the rear and run a 12mm front to clear the strut. Most of the rubbing issues I'm having is coming from the 275 RE71R being too aggressive of a tire, especially with that really wide and square sidewall. Rubbing has gotten significantly less as I played around with damping and ride height, and it's at a point where I don't rub on a daily commute so I live with it

How are you getting on with the rubbing on 285/35’s I now have camber plates and running 2.5 front and 2.1 rear camber

Loads of room with stock tyres I’d like to run 265/35 front and 285/35 rear but know this is a bit tricky, I wonder Is 255/35 f and 285/35 r will dial in too much understeer. Not super impressed with the additional camber and top plates I’ve added a bit of NVH for some increased precision and a tad better turn in but overall the understeer bias is broadly the same

still experiencing rubbing in the inner wheel well (plastic liners). I have not taken a heat gun to it, as its not affecting me on a daily basis.

Hey guys, looking to get on a set of Te37's on my OG M2.

Ideally I want to move to a 18x9.5/18x10.5 setup. I am on Msport coils at the suggested height without any aftermarket camber plates. I want to avoid rubbing as I drive canyons fairly hard but do not track the car at all.

1. Is this a viable setup size wise, if so what offset should I be going for?
2. If it is not viable, then what offset should I look to for a an 18x9.5 square setup or 18x9.5/18x10 setup?

Thanks in advance.

A little late to this thread but here's an old pic. The car doesn't really look like that anymore though.

Yeah, most common is to swap AP Racing fronts, alternatively could swap to OG M2 blue brakes

Same specs as OP. 18x9.5 ET38 with Falken RT660 265/35/18.

Since these are actually Civic Type R spec wheels, I am running spacers. 12mm Motorsport Hardware spacers all around.
