The dates sound about right if it?s at the VPC and then going to leave. Any port installed parts? |

If I check the cargo ship tracking it says that it was "Discharged" Aug 29th, this is when the ship was unloaded I believe, and that it was "Delivered From", I assume from the port to the train, on Sept 5th. My dealer claims it is on the train and on route to Vancouver as of today, the 6th. So everything seems to line up. Last edited by Mirk; 09-06-2017 at 03:53 PM.. |

I was told by my dealer that there were no port installed parts and that it was done at the dealer before delivery. My research appears to confirm this. Edit: Here's a thread about it http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433875 Last edited by Mirk; 09-06-2017 at 03:58 PM.. |

Update on Canadian Tracking Links
Notified today (10/10/2017) about the arrival of our new 2018, Alpinweiss, manual M2. Barely one month from production date to arrival at dealer in Ottawa, Ontario. All links in the original post are active and relevant. Only glitch was that I lost sight the car between Halifax, Nova Scotia and Montreal, Quebec. (this leg was shipped by CN rail and took 8 days to clear customs and arrive at destination). Hansen's Forwarding were less than two days accepting and moving the M2 between Montreal and Ottawa dealer. Just in time for snow tires...

If any Canadian folks need CN tracking to see your vehicle moving between VPC to your local CN terminal (until you can track using Hansen's), PM me.
I have access to CN tracking anytime using computer and cell phone. Cheers |

Anybody have any luck? typing in the last 7 digits of my week 49 products does nothing. Does the car actually have to be produced yet?

If your date shows 0000-00-00, it means it did not finish its production. Date will show up at the very last step in production. If production date is indicated, meaning that the car will be sent over to the port in few days. |

Canada destined vessels depart every week (if there is enough car to be loaded), and some cars do wait additional days and that depends what day your production and what day coming for those week productions will be loaded accordingly. As BMW do their full vehicle test and inspection before releasing from factory, they could find some wrongs in yours and that could delay few days to weeks depending on what problem they have.. At this point of yours, it is nothing that we can do much to change anything up-coming. Give it a week additional. If you still do not see any updates on W&W, contact BMWGenius and your SA for them to figure out if there is any problem causing the delay. Cheers |
