Brake Fluid QTY

I need to switch to DOT 4 brake fluid for my first track day. Does anyone know how much fluid is required for a complete flush?

Get 2 liters. You might be good with one but when flushing the old one you might spend a little more than 1

I recommend this one.

SRF is overkill for part-time trackers, and it doesn't mix well w/ other fluids so you need to really flush the hell out of the system (and run the ISTA for the ABS) to do a real swap. A 660-level fluid is more than your brakes need (the other parts of them will melt at about the boiling point). Get twice as much, then keep the extra with you at the track in case you need to bleed them unexpectedly. Once a bottle is open, it is used or trash, don't try to store half bottles.

You'll need 1.5 quarts for a flush. SRF is the jam. Add braided SS lines and titanium shims, and you have world-class brakes. But yes, overkill for the occasional track day.

Do you have a source for the Ti shims?
I've been looking for a set to mitigate dust boot issues.
