I took my M2c into my usual shop for a track day inspection, they found cracks in the two pipes between the mufflers. The car 9k miles, mostly with the Eisenmann Exhaust and many track miles.

wow.. that's hard to believe from such a main stream mfg like Eisenmann.
Are they still within mfg warranty?

I’m not the original owner of the car, so I have no warranty info on the exhaust.

If you have no warranty, find a good welder and you should be ok. Yes, it will not be 100%, however you should be able to salvage what you have and save yourself the expense of a new back box.

Thanks, that is the plan.
The shop I use say they have one, they restore cars and have some great techs so I trust them. I’m a Mechanical design engineer and also have a bunch of contacts.

I’ve got cold start delete on a stage one tune and don’t want to put a race exhaust on this car to keep welds from cracking, my neighbors already know when my cars starts when leaving at 5:00 am for a track day.
