Manual shifting 0-60

I’m curious as to your techniques for producing the best 0-60 times as well as a quick launch with the manual trans. Thanks!

I have not done it in my M2C but have done it in my F80 a few times.
I'd go first gear to 4500-5000 RPM and quick shift to second that would take you all the way to 62mph. The second gear pull is great in the car.

F80 had a different tune where max TQ did not drop off before red line though.

I did all of my runs in MDM mode

I launched mine in nice florida heat at around 2200-2500 rpm anymore I'd just spin in 1st and get that annoying bog into 2nd.
this rpm would JUST be enough to shuffle the tires on the edge of grip and be able to shift into 2nd with no issues of grip or bog.

Thanks! I went out and tried your technique and it works excellent. Tried taking it to no more than 5,500 and it rips! MDM is fantastic. I find it amazing how differently the throttle responds based on how hard I mash the pedal. Sometimes technology is okay!

I’ll have to give this a try soon. Thanks!

Are you riding the clutch for the few seconds of taking her to 60? What do you all mean by "bog"?

I was playing around this weekend on a quiet flat stretch and quit when I began to smell my clutch burning...Trying to match an automatic transmission in a drag race would be difficult IMO.
