Couldn't take the CVT and squishy suspension of the outback anymore.

I had it as a loaner from the dealer for a few days. It was very fun! Good color combo

Nah there's a line of dealerships there by the same owners. Mercedes is next door. I assume they share disposable floor mats lol

Sold the Toyota Tundra which was my daily driver for more than what I paid for it, and then added a 2019 M2C a few weeks ago. So now all my cars are only 2 doors manual M cars in the fleet... but I'm so happy. I really miss the versatility of the truck, as well as not having to worry about it, but I made the move because I know my time enjoying these cars is not infinite. Once the M2 is paid off in a few years, I'll probably add something with more room, but I'll carry on as is for now.
From longest ownership to shortest: 2008 E92 M3, 1999 E36 M3, 2007 Z4M Roadster, 2019 M2C. P.S. I think I've done my part trying to save the manuals

New M2C owner here - here's the rest of my current BMW stable... Really would like to get them all together for one pic - but then it would be too easy for my wife to figure out how many I actually have now...
'11 Individual Fire Orange E90 M3... '11 Individual Monte Carlo Blue E92 M3 ("big" plans for this car )... '18 M2 - R&D test mule and future dedicated race car... E92 M3 Race Car - Trans Am GT class & SCCA T1... And last but not least - Helga... She has undergone a bit of a drastic weight loss recently but look for her to return to fighting shape soon...

Virginia? Hope you are aware of ZFest, ZSCCA and the Charlotte CraZee's. Good friends of mine help organize Z events around the southeast.

Very cool events! I just like my local cars and coffee however...2 kiddos at home with a 2-seater doesn't add up for long weekends away!

I sold my 2005 e46 M3 to keep it. (Short story- I'd just gotten married and needed garage space. And with a good looking blonde who likes to go fast, sooner or later I was going to have to pay a visit to a bail bondsman or a morgue.) Still miss that car though- I sold it to a buddy and it lives in Ft. Meyers now. R.

Sold the Evo a few months ago, added this today. Couldn't be more different than the M2C, and I'm glad I have both. This particular example has full bolt ons, and on E85, makes 550hp. Ordering snow wheel/tires so I can have some fun this winter while the M2 is in the garage.

Just sold back my wife's paid off 2021 Mazda CX-5 over the weekend for a Hyundai Palisade limited edition. What a beautiful SUV. Honestly, Hyundai knocked it out of the park with these. We lost about $1K on the Mazda, and that was about 7 months of usage and ~8K miles. Not bad. But the Mazda was just too small for my wife carting all the kids and neighborhood kids around who's both parents work.
We got the Palisade for about $45500 (but feels like an $80K SUV). Not bad in this market for a Limited. Was the dealer's only one. 100,000 mile warranty on these still included along with 1 year of complimentary maintenance. The interior of the Palisade is about on par with any luxury car (including the ambient lighting features found in Mercedes and BMW) and the features are about the same as well. With about 300 hursepers and 8 gear transmission, it drives perfectly for an SUV of its size. Has 4 driving modes including a sport mode with paddle shifters. Fun and comfortable which I never thought I'd say about a SUV. I think we'll have this vehicle for quite a while. |

M235i xDrive on KW DDC coilovers (on Eibach springs in the picture). My wife drives it now. Came in handy 3-4 days last winter when we had especially bad snow.
