Off of Walker Street so really close to you. I probably drive past your place pretty often when dropping off and picking up my kids from the community center.

Just added this to the stable for the wife. Much more engaging than the CR-V it replaced. The little four banger turbo is quite fun.

I really like that Mazda red. It catches my eye every time I see it on the road.

I need to go drive one. I've heard wonderful things about them but never had a chance for some reason. Dealership here is so so.

I think a GTI would tick quite a few boxes for me. Really like the way the MK7 looks, not sold on the 8 yet.

Did you get the trailer-specific 4 post or just adapt the regular one?
I am planning on buying a couple of 4 post lifts for storage but figured I could get a trailer on a regular car lift if needed.
I didn't like the idea of buying the lift made for trailers / boats only since I want to be able to store various vehicles on rotation. Looking for advice. Thx.

It is a trailer specific 4-post but can be used for cars too. This one is a Bendpak HD-7500BLX with the 110V motor option. The only other trailer lift I found was from Wildfire Lifts (WF7500TL) and the only reason I didn't go with them was that the footprint of that lift was too wide and the posts would have been within an inch of where the Ram parks in the garage.

There is a fixed ramp that is powered and has the hydraulic assembly. The opposite ramp has two positions, a wide setting for the trailer, and a narrow setting for other vehicles. The non-powered ramp is held in by four bolts so it's not too difficult to set up for a car, just takes a little time.

For my specific situation, getting a trailer lift was the best option. 2.5 years of off-site storage for the trailer was the same price as the lift and I didn't have anywhere else on my property to store the trailer. I only put the car on the four post for major maintenance (like replacing my clutch & flywheel) as I have a set of Quickjacks for routine maintenance and I can have the car fully lifted on the QJ's under the 4-post lift.

Very cool - you ever go to Katie's? Will keep a lookout for your M2C.

I just replaced my '18 Civic Si with a '21 M2 comp over the weekend, so far I love it!

My other cars -

'95 Miata with a lot of mods:
KYB AGX Shocks, flyin' miata springs, energy suspension master bushings kit (man that was pain to install!) Mishmoto rad, full cobalt exhaust w/magnaflow cat and Racing beat headers, and some other things I'm sure I forgot.

'07 Toyota Yaris 5 speed - I picked this thing up in near mint condition for $1000 and I actually love it, it's very, very slow but great for around town and hauling stuff.

'07 Aprilia Tuono 1000R - Love this bike, super fun and still somewhat comfortable - extremely good on track.

I try not have have regrets in color choices. But boy that sunset orange looks so great. If I had to do it over again, I would get that color. For some reason I appreciate bold colors recently.

Nothing wrong with that. The M2C is a sweet all-rounder. I have said it before, ///M just does this performance for all so well and that was what made them famous in the first place. As long as people go in knowing it is not designed as an outright track car; but instead a car for the road, you will not be disappointed.

You're one and only car is awesome and basically my current setup.
