Help with data logs/ignition timing
I just recently looked back at my logs and noticed the ignition timing is pulling down to -6 under load at about 5,000 rpm on my Stage 1 BM3 OTS map and my Stage 2 BM3 E30 map. Is this normal or do my spark plugs need to be looked at? I also noticed slight engine knocks every once in a while...
Thanks in advance! Stage 1 ACN91 Log from Aug. 27, 2021 https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6129...90c62f11a3f4ab Stage 2 E30 Log from Oct. 14, 2021 https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6168...729b47bb678ec0 |

How many miles are on the plugs and coils? It doesn’t hurt to replace the plugs at least
Go OEM at standard Gap. The PTF Recommendation seems to create a bunch of issues |

You'll actually have to log a gear pull - 3rd or 4th 2500RPM to 6500RPM(or Redline)

Ideally you’ll get 2nd, 3rd, and 4th as you can see differences in timing etc in each gear. Just because 3rd looks good, doesn’t mean 4th gear is happy. Happy logging. |
