Very informative!

The 450hp version will truly be a weapon.

Good review. Thank you. We will wait for participation in real races with good competitors from the Porsche.

Yeah, he mentioned that a 450hp version of the M2 CS Racing is in the works (walkaround video 07:44 - 07:54 and 14:24 - 14:26).

From 280hp or 365hp to 450hp: if BMW further strips it to the bone, will they call that bird the M2 CSL Racing ? (track-only) ?

I like that plastic front splitter (carbon sucks on servo driveways) and the aluminium hood

Going to look into those racing parts for my M2C

This was actually a very informative video, better than most "reviews"!

I'd love to have one for sure!

The 450 tune for the S55 already exists in the M3/M4 CS. Probably has some tweaks for whatever is different on the M2.

Question is... can the general public acquire those goodies under the hood? - Or are these parts limited to those who actually own the car, sort of like e46 M3 CSL parts were?

You mean if it's "vin-locked" to the vehicle, where you have to provide a VIN, prior to approval of purchase..

Word on the street, is BMW has done away with limiting replacement parts, on specific vehicle models; so as long as you can swing it, BMW will sell it..

Right. I'm hoping that's the case.

Right. I'm hoping that's the case.
A "parts guy" confirmed this with me and he was pretty adamant about it..

I didn't personally test the theory, so don't quote me..

One of the more interesting features to me are the front brakes and 18" wheels. I would copy paste this config.

Same - except I'd go something like AP in the front instead of Alcon, if I had any hint of wanting to drive on the street at all. Alcon is just tooo harsh.

ok good feedback. can you expand on the Alcon brake harshness? Is it pads or the response etc?

It's near impossible to drive smoothly on the street

Is there a way to find out exactly what suspension this car is running? - Perhaps rebranded KW Clubsport?

According to the spec:

Three-level adjustable anti-roll bars front and rear
Specially modified motorsport dampers (ZF Sachs) front and rear
Springs available with three spring ratings each for front and rear axle (optional)
Motorsport-specific steering connections
Specially reworked spring dome on front axle for enhanced configuration options for the wheel camber
Spherical front-axle and rear-axle suspension
Chassis already prepared for spring deflection sensors
