Summer actually because we're in the southern hemisphere. Just the perfect time if COVID-19 allows

A bit of an oddball comparison between the F-Type Jag and the M2 CS. Though I'm really impressed with 6MT and think this might be the only manual review I've seen so far. @11:50 ish he tells it like it is: you'd want to go drive around the track if you have one of these and you'd want to drive it like mad and frequently too. That sums up why I'd buy the car, not how much/little it costs or how fast it goes. It's how much fun it is to drive it like an adolescent enthusiast.

Mine's October build too. Late December or early January delivery for us. At least in January it's a 2021 compliance plate. Not that that really matters. Time of year doesn't really matter down here. The cup 2s are "all season tyres" in Australia.

😂 NICE! I was like it would suck to have the M2CS delivered and then you have to park it for the winter haha.

What specs did you order? Not that there were many! I read in EU you can order reversing camera and dual zone air ... and I ask myself, why?

Originally HS, switched to MB. DCT, red brakes because I like how they look. Cup 2 tyres on black wheels. Aside from CCB I don't know if there actually are any other options? What about you?

You only have two other options you can tick - Sun Glazing (Privacy glass for the rear windows) - Alarm

On my part, I'm waiting for a MB CCB 6MT with gold wheels on Cup2 - trying to order a spare set of wheels but haven't heard about the price yet. The glazed windows were kind of a late addition. I saw the one Shmee drove - it looked pretty good.

I have both an OG M2 and a CS and I would buy another OG M2 in a heartbeat. Spend your savings on a coilover suspension and other bits like camber plates and some lower control arms, etc. With these mods the OG handles way better than my CS, which has the Litchfield kit. The interior way better on CS, but that’s a trade off I could live with.
Good luck. Chet |

But really it comes down to your use and desire. If you want cheap thrills/ bang for buck/ track rat, then get yourself an OG and mod away. There is no doubt it is a great drive and is good value. If you want ‘something special’/ the pinnacle of M2 (and arguably BMW, but that it subjective of course) then CS is a standout. The good news is there is no ‘wrong’ choice 😎 |

A great spec CS on the forum for 78k. I couldn't get past the interior on the C for a DD. For a mainly track car it wouldn't matter so much. I'd agree to buy a C and mod. By the time all is said and done I'll probably sink about 120k (ppf, exhaust, brakes, suspension, etc) into my CS and it won't perform any better than a modded C with 85k in it. At the same time I have no regrets and would still get the CS if doing it over again. At this price point get what you want and be less concerned about what is the better bargain. Don't worry about the Jone's and make sure you won't have regrets about your purchase. |

Difficult to answer. It just depends on the size of your wallet, if money is no subject I would take the CS IMHO the M2CS and the E82 1M are the finest BMW`s ever been produced. I used to have them both. And seeing where BMW now is heading, I don`t think my opinion is ever to be changed. |
