Some shots from my 4 months of ownership. Sometimes still can’t believe I own one.

Awesome shots!!! Making me want the CF winglets…I’ve been so torn on them since owning the car. Sometimes, looks great and completes the side look / carries the theme to the side…others, I fear it can look gimmicky / just stuck on…but some good angles in these pics making them look proper. Happy you are enjoying!

When I first looked at the car I wasn't sure about the CF accessories but it didn't take long at all to say 'yeah this stuff makes sense with the CS'. The winglets really tie in with the CF splitter and the rear spoiler. Not to mention as you look at other special and performance-y cars several of them have similar treatment.

I took mine off at ~4k miles as I kept feeling that they were just too "gimmicky" for my taste. I'd consider selling them to you or someone else. They've been PPFed since new and the PPF is showing some wear but underneath is perfect.

This is gonna be an unpopular opinion but I'd even remove my front splitter if I didn't have the underlying metal brackets to contend with. I may even tinker around and see if I can remove those cleanly, for a nice lip-free look all around.

“Back to black” for the winter - absolutely loving the dual personality of the car now…and the brakes turn into eye candy, love it. Now I’m fired up for a box from IND to arrive, took advantage of some Black Friday sales, stay tuned!!

The black does look sick af. I was thinking of refinishing my frozen gold ones because the clear coat is peeling on one wheel. Was thinking between Apex wheel shades, motorsport gold, bronze or satin black. I also have the CCBs so trying to figure out what would look best on Alpine white

So, my gut would be gold or black - and as much as I love how special/unique the gold looks, I must admit black wheels on this car are perfect because of all the black CF bits…ties in incredibly well and looks SO much better in person vs pics where I think gold takes the cake. Only issue with black is keeping them clean if you don’t have CCB…but there are low dust pad options for sure. |

Agree, white/gold is so sexy…my 06 STi had the same theme, at a time when it was one of the only cars sold in the US from the factory with gold wheels. Very polarizing at the time, and I loved every bit of it

I'm also thinking to possibly refinish them in the 827M bronze shade from the G8x CS series.. Decisions, decisions. Dropping the car off today to get it paint corrected and coated over the next few days
Side note: added a big brother to the collection. Say hello to the new daily Last edited by Reddevils7; 12-12-2024 at 12:00 AM.. |

Thanks! I damn near sold it recently, after upgrading the truck and buying a bigger travel trailer for family adventures. I even handed it off to a trusted auto broker, and all.
But I found myself losing considerable sleep over it and ultimately concluded that I'd end up seriously regretting it, as it's likely the most unique car I'll ever own. And just way too much fun to drive (whenever I get the chance).
