Wondering the same thing... finish looks really nice!

I would never had thought to paint the wheels all silver, but it looks amazing!

I love the silver 788Ms, but I am not sure if they would look good on on a HS M2C.

Maybe an opportunity to try body color wheels.

I think it might be too much. In my opinion there has to be some contrast between the wheel and body color. However, I have seen some cars that pull it off just fine.

Black is probably the best color for wheels in a HS car, but black makes the 788Ms look like two big black blobs.

The spokes and detail on the 788Ms are lost on dark colors. I dipped my wheels in a 'hypersilver' dip (so I could get an idea of the color before I commit to powdercoating permanently) so you can see what they look like on HS. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The 788s look bigger and better in a lighter color and I think it works on the HS.

What did you do to get the wheels this color?

What did you do to get the wheels this color?
Probably the special paint from plastic and removable ? Can you share with us the brand of the sprays and also the number of it you used

Seems quite a nice work as they aren't wheels easy to paint

Oh wow, they look really good in silver. I do think that the front lip and side blades help complete the look.

For those interested I used the following product: https://www.fulldip.com/en/fd-spray-...-400ml-en.html . It's the only good plastidip available locally for me, I think in the US you have quite a few more options.

I ended up using 1 can per wheel and I would recommend removing the wheel to spray it. It makes it easier to ensure you get all the nooks in the 788Ms otherwise you might not get full coverage.

All in all it's a bit of labor and a few hours of work, but it's worth it (at least for me) and if I get tired of it I can always just peel it off and it didn't actually cost a lot.

Thanks ... on the level of the cleaning and the products? You can use normal wheel product, doesn't it peal when cleaning with a brush for the inside?

I use normal products like Meguiars Wheel Cleaner and brushes. The key is too spray the spokes from behind the wheel so that the dip covers both sides. That way there is no 'edge' for it to peel from.

I'd love to see these on LBB, strongly considering it.
