In my mind, the Germans are in a different class and I'm not sure they would go down to that level. In fact, Mazda always had 0.9% and that is more comparable to GM

That is exactly the conclusion that I came to with the Cayman 718. The manual version just felt anemic compared the BMW 6. ThePDK was better but the first time you hit the throttle the turbo lag was definitely there.

Yes. It's really amazing how much incentives can vary between regions in the USA.

But right before this crisis, this would be the deal to shoot for. Depends how comfortable you're with this deal and would 11% make a sizable difference to you. Best case would be to just ask and wait a few days to see what happens. Right now it's very interesting because sellers and buyers are in a holding pattern trying to see what the next few weeks or months will bring. We do know more supply will be coming in the next 2 months due to stock that are already built or in the production line. But if you need a car now, it's not a bad time to jump on a car that is still considered pretty good.

I'd probably jump on that. Only alternative I'd consider is a very low mileage one <5000 miles for a big discount which there is, strangely, a good amount of.

In CA, I think that would be an incredible deal on an M2. No one has a crystal ball into the future to predict what happens to the economy and car prices, and even inventory of the M2. So if you've got a good deal on a car you want, I'd say take it

I would find the lowest priced new M2C in the country and see if you can get that price on whatever car you buy. Good luck with your search.

I landed 10% off MSRP last week, and that was after some hard pushing, it felt like a solid deal, especially since it was the exact spec I wanted. 10% off or better, I think, is "buy it" territory right now. Yes, these dealers are struggling, but selling cars for THAT much of a loss probably isn't going to happen. 10.2% is the highest discount I've seen so far. I've heard rumors of 11% but haven't ever actually seen it.

Most people are also forgetting that we have no clue what will happen to MY2021 M2C. Will it even be produced? Reduced numbers? If you find one you like with a good deal, better to act
