M2 LCI Cluster Problems

Hey I recently retrofitted a 2018 m2 lci cluster into my m235i. wanted you guys/ladies insight on a problem I'm having.

the damn cluster takes a while to light up/come on when i start the car/turn the car on.

i looked on google and seen that was a problem with m2 clusters in 2018 i believe.

i searched the vin for recalls on the m2 that got parted out and it didn't have any recalls. also searched the vin for software upgrades but nothing about cluster power delays.

did you have to go to bmw to get it upgraded? i know it may not work out for me being that i switched out the cluster.
is there somewhere i can download that specific software upgrade?
would doing that upgrade affect my car being that it isn't a m2?

yeah i got my cluster coded to my car. everything was fine. until now it takes a while to turn on when i turn on my car. do you think the coder would have to code something to fix that issue?

looking at doing this retrofit, but having a hard time determining the correct part # for a US/LHD/MPH car. Scanning the various threads here, I've seen people use:
* 62-10-8-090-142
* 62-10-8-097-793
* 62-10-8-098-269
* 62-10-8-095-727

which don't appear to all be interchangeable, and seemingly no way to differentiate between them. If I throw a valid 2018/LCI VIN into getbmwparts.com (eg), the -142 part is what it shows as a valid gauge cluster. But none of the retrofit threads mention using it.

edit: Vince @ mybimmerparts says that the current US/LCI cluster part # is 62-10-9-501-330
