Having some issues with the front DRLs, it seems when the headlights activate automatically or by using the manual dial they dim and go back to default brightness.

Is this a known issue? I've set everything to 100% in the app, not sure where I'm going wrong.

Just received vehicle back from dealer with everything restored back to original settings. I was able to code everything back to my preferences but wouldn't give me anything on front electronic module. Gives me no code data...tried to clear and restore with no luck. Anything else I can try? Loved all the mirror codes and headlights.

Back in April my 2017 M2 had its telecommunications box replaced and i-Step subsequently updated. Like you, the coding I had performed with BimmerCode was undone in the process. When I recoded I too was unable to access the FEM—it was grayed out. It was explained to me that due to the i-Step update, BimmerCode required also an update to be able to access the FEM, and that said update would eventually happen.

I tried to access the FEM on and off for a couple of months, but was not successful, and then forgot about it. A few weeks back I thought I would give it a try again. This time I had access to the FEM and recoded the last bit that I had lost due to the i-Step update.

Back in April, the version of BimmerCode on my iPhone was 2.8, while the version that worked just recently is 2.12.

I love the bimmercode app. Just recommended to 3 other friends. I used veepak Bluetooth on my 2017 X3(F25) and just enabled id6_light. I also enabled Apple CarPlay but only Siri works now.

How do I go about FSC code to activate the CarPlay, so I can use Google maps on screen.

Also is there any advanced coding page for things to try?

My bimmecode is no longer letting me disable auto start/stop since the latest i-step by the dealer during running in service.

Any one else having issues with this post service?

EDIT: Update just released supposedly fixes the problem, haven't tested it yet...

This is somewhat related to the post above, and I haven't seen an answer to this specific question in the bunch of pages I've gone through, so hopefully someone knows:

I just had the latest ISTEP installed in the hopes that it would fix an ongoing issue (my connected app remote commands don't work; the update didn't fix it), so I'm now on P18362I on my pre-LCI. Does the ISTEP update basically revert all of the coding to stock (updated stock, but stock)? Obviously I lost all of my coding and settings, but is there any trace remaining of the coding I'd done? I don't believe my coding was the cause of the issue I'm having, I'm just curious if the figurative slate is wiped clean.

Hey everyone, I just want to offer a bit of info for the folks who can't get easy seat entry to work. Apparently with a certain revision of ISTEP BMW removed the underlying code for this feature. Unfortunately I don't know which revision specifically, if anyone knows please post. I'm pretty bummed because that was one of my favorite things. I upgraded the ROM to get rid of the annoying PDC beep and now have to deal with my seat being awkwardly close when I enter and exit the car. whomp whomp.

Different engine I would assume has different electronics. I'm just guessing, it's totally a known thing some people can't code that feature. Me being one of them

I take it all back, Okee was incorrect. I don't know what the culprit was but I just changed all the appropriate settings, flashed, then reverted to the original settings I implemented and it's working now.

I got the latest istep done and thus erasing all my code. Got it all back except for turn signal indicator to 5 blinks. The option looks like is gone. Anyone knows how to do it or if possible in expert mode?
