I can vouch for the Wiechers Sport Racingline Carbon Fiber Strut Tower Brace, plus the color matched painted Engine Cover on a F3X 335i N55.
Added some rigidity to the front end. F3X M-sports have front/rear suspensions like jello -- really bad. And I have the upgraded Adaptive M Sport suspension. Add the Eventuri CF Intake and a brushed/polished aluminum charge pipe, plus a black billet oil filter cap (Burger MS) and you have a beautiful engine bay. For the M2, there are upgraded corner struts that you should match to any strut tower brace. I am used to my BMW E9X M3 which is solid all around power and handling. When you change your spark plugs on an N55, you have to remove the hidden strut tower brace (need an Ext. Torx) to reach the rear cylinders. Cheers |

Hinged and slotted - as per the photo - brace rigidity could be reliant on hinge bolt tension to fix the length of the strut bar within the slot - sub-optimal. Unless, once installed the bolt position in the slot is tight-up to outer end of the slot as forces from strut towers translate into compressive forces into any brace that's mounted directly between the strut tops. https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-g6pu...f?t=1572680664

The slotted holes for the hinge look like a Bad Idea. Should still work well in tension though.
I'm wondering about the manufacturing tolerances of the brace and degree of 'flex' in the chassis if the slots are needed to ensure it fits mind... |

Just got back from a track day. I was really impressed with how neutral the handling was. Really no lean in the corners. Seems like a very nice inexpensive upgrade.

Looks like a better design (more rigid) and doesn't have the ugly brand. Has anyone tried?
