If it's 300, even better. That would mean close to 15% of the total.
Seems like it's going to be a rare Car!

To add to those stats, I saw some countries like Sweden only got 6 allocations.

Bloody hell, only 6 for Sweden

Speaking of scarcity, assuming LH drive Vs RH drive allocation going 1800 LH, and 400 RH drive, AND, DCT Vs 6MT breakup of say 60/40, then there could potentially be little over 7% of the total production or 160 units worldwide in 6MT RH drive. Given our total allocation of 70, it would suggest 5 Australian 6MT RH drive allocations.

I wonder how many will still be around in 15 years' time!?

So that makes me even happier I picked up an order with a 6MT!

For now, all 30 numbered M2 CS are spoken for in SA and they will be the rare possession of a few.

The standard list price was R1,615,744 but some of the highly sought number plaques were reportedly auctioned above the R2m mark.

Hi guys,

Been reading the forums since M2 CS announced finally decided to join.

Well, I'd be one of the 5 then! Misano Blue, gold wheels, manual incoming! Surely it can't be that few...Is the 70 allocation for Aus number accurate?

Singapore will probably get 2, each priced at $3 billion dollars. There is one in Cyprus which can be seen on this forum already. You'd thing a few will make it to Hong Kong so they can be featured in an expensive car park in some YouTuber's video. Probably a couple more in India. And a couple in Malaysia.

So really not many RHD ones. Maybe 300 max?
Hong Kong has gone from an allocation of 5 and shot up to 28. Got ours yesterday. They are all OPF'd. The only rest it will get is now, getting coated/ppf'd, so I told it to rest well.

Well, as of last week according to my sources, the figures for Australia stood at 84 total destined deliveries of which 2 were for press only. There were 18 delivered in September and the rest will arrive late December through February 2021.

From these, 70 had already been sold by end of September. There's no saying whether or not the extra 12 have been sold since then. I understand the press pair will not be sold.

I was also told majority of the vehicles among the 70 sold had red brakes with roughly a 70/30 DCT/6MT breakdown.

It's fair to assume, the rarest combo is going to be in Alpine White with highest ranked colour on order being the Misano Blue.

Ah. Well, it usually comes out once the chassis completes its production run, after June 2021.

I asked Artemis on the BMW M2CS Delivery Thread why German deliveries are excluded. Don't believe there was a response. Anyone know?

I think it might end up being less than 2200.

I know we won't know final count till the M2C finishes its run but I'm still curious to know how far off this 2,200 worldwide number for M2CS is.

Does that mean we can expect final production numbers for the CS this summer?

Probably SickFinga will make a table with figures this Summer.

BMW M2 production/sales statistics: here (2017) and here (pre-LCI production (MY2016 + MY2017)).
