Thanks for the helpful information. Actually found a local 2018 with only 900 miles for sale (privately) locally. Looked at the car this morning, made a deal, shook on it, and left a deposit with the understanding I would pick it up next weekend and be in touch this week to arrange the details. Only to find out the seller sold it to someone else this afternoon.
Obviously disappointed by this, but taking it as a sign that it was not meant to happen. Going to back off the search for a while. |

Anyone else been scoring significant discounts on leftover 18s? The nearest M2 with the options I want is 2 states away and the dealer refuses to go below 7% off MSRP. I plan to keep shopping around but wondering how its going for everyone else out there.

northeast dealers have been offering me 7% off msrp before incentives, still not sure if it's worth it considering the M3 has a good lease rate right now

There was a white m2 in Kansas down from 60 to 53.5. I think the Wichita bmw dealer.

here.... almost 15% off msrp
62.7k sticker, 53.4k advertised price (including $4.5k incentive). yes, it looks like it has some dealer added M parts....but still a screaming deal.

Seems like a great deal until you dig a bit further: "includes trade-in incentive," "buyers outside Omaha metro area may be subject to a $385 out of state Security and Compliance Fee" (???) "and other applicable rebates." Seems like a dealer stacking everything on a car...but you don't have a good chance of qualifying for half of it.

I ended up buying a discounted M2C out of state. I would of purchased a 2018 M2 but the discount would need to be 10K+ for me to even consider it and none of the dealers would offer any reasonable discount when I was looking in mid Dec 2018.
In the US there are over 170+ New/Used/Certified 2018 M2 LCIs available on Autotrader. I'm still surprised most dealers are not offering better discounts to get reduce inventory of MY18. |

I'm sure dealers will eventually offer much better discounts later in the year. If you are willing to wait for a better deal, I would shop and reach out either at the end of the month or near the end of the first quarter (mid-late March). |

so from my calls around various dealers around the country, cali is the worst. I was able to get some good deals up north and also one in Virginia. Found two dealers able to do 51k and 51.4k for white DCT. Good luck everyone that's still looking don't wait too long. Id imagine end of this month might be the last chance to get a good price.

What do you guys think of this for a leftover 2018? 10% off MSRP, then $5750 ($4500 incentive, $750 loyalty, $500 CCA) in rebates. $395 doc fee plus tax, title, registration. Around 19% off MSRP overall.

great
i think that would be a great deal...even better if you can still manage to find an MT stripper out there. i doubt there are more than a few dozen new MT's left. searching autotrader, there are 34 new '18 MT's listed....but a good chunk of those are erroneously listed and actually have DCT.
