Interesting - hadn't noticed that there's a new option to replace the standard carbon fiber trim with gloss black trim, nor that the US model can only be had with the new wheels...

Seems to me that the CF trim is still standard as listed under standard features, and the high gloss black trim is a NC (no cost) option.

I think you're right. So, what I now didn't realize was that there's a no-cost option to replace the carbon fiber trim with gloss black trim.

Should we expect discounts for the M2 Comp when ordering? Maybe not currently but maybe a year from now? If I understand correctly, these will be mass produced and not limited.

So how do you specify the perforated leather in blue or orange? Part of some package?

I don't know. I hope so but probably won't count on it.

This is huge! Remember how we would all complain about how moonroofs were standard and BMW would sell you a regular roof instead for no extra cost (gee, thanks)?

Someone is listening. They didn't bake the moonroof into the price so if you don't want the weight and want room for a helmet, you can now save money doing it too.

Thank you, BMW.

Ask your Client advisor. It is in the drop down menu when ordering

I think you are getting excited for no reason??

When was this with the moonroof as a no cost option? On the M3 or M4 ? That would be a no cost option vs the carbon roof, which itself is an added cost option for the M2 comp.

Generally BMW doesn't give away moonroofs for free but on the F80/F82 the car doesn't have to leave the line like it does for the CF roof so it's likely cheaper when considering labor and time.

Does anyone know why Ultimate Care pricing is no longer provided when configuring options on the bmwusa.com site? It could really impact the price of the car and something I would like to know up front.
