There are a few threads around here explaining that coding out ASD is not the same as using the bypass harness.

Apparently, the ASD unit itself injects a hissing sound even if the fake noise is muted - this is due to the fact that the ASD unit has it's own amplifier.

Some members report much cleaner audio (although with slightly less bass punch) once the ASD unit is bypassed.

I'm sure somebody else can explain this better than I. -scr

Well for the cost, it's worth the gamble

Track decals from trackdecal.com. $3 x 8 = $24. Orange stickers on BSM with 40% tint make for an excellent combo.

Please post a close up photos or two or TEN of the mirrors. LOL. They must go well with the CF interior.

Do they fit over the stock covers or do you remove them? If so how do you remove the covers?

Mike

Knock off mirrors, worth every penny

Mine are a complete covers, plastic shell covered with CF and resin. You simply remove the painted covers and clip these on - takes about 10 mins and saves $100's.

I got the M-mirror type to my M2. In the background you see the original from M3. The flow and accuracy in design is perfect.

Nice. Would you happen to have a link to where we can get these?

Ouch! My condolences. Glad I didn't try to order one earlier!

I guess TechnicPnP sold so many that they're now able to lower the price and offer free shipping (inside the US, at least).

Take care. -scr

Exactly; like I said in an earlier post, at this price point, I can buy a new set every year for the next 9 years, for the same price as the MP mirror caps

Coding!
Any codes being thrown with those new turn signal bulbs? Also, are you using all 3 adjustment shims that are provided on the clutch stop?
Sorry for the late reply; no codes/errors with the LEDs; however, I admit I am on my second pair. First pair gave me errors. I got this pair from a link sent by a fellow forum member. I will look for the link.

And yes, I used all three shims...

Yes, typically....its 3M automotive tape. If you want, you can use industrial strength betalink...but understand that it will *never* come off, unless you want to risk paint damage. You'll not be able to return the car to stock...

"3" Loudvalve" bought off ama**n for 150, bought a QTEC SS 3" y pipe, welded the Loundvalve on the end...routed the other end to stock resonator and mufflers...Queit driving under low load t 4-6psi the boot activated valve snaps open, the car sounds anamaistic (also have 4" catless dp) and adds about 20-30whp.

Straight open header basically...
