Looking great. Always loved this wheel style from the E82/92 days.

I, unfortunately, put my car into hibernation for the next few months.

Does those fit for normal setup (no need for winter wheels in SoCal) and I don't know why BMW didn't just keep putting those wheels on all of their cars since they found perfection

Well I cheated so it will fit. Its style 359 reps. 18x8 +35

Original competition I dont think will fit correctly, but yes they should of kept this style or brought it back with specs for the new gens

Replaced my Contis with PS4S after just 7,600 miles. Fronts were only half done, but I replace all 4. Stock size BTW.

Initial impressions are that there is an incredible difference in road noise and ride comfort. I was not expecting this at all; what I was expecting was more grip and better wet weather performance.

I'd actually go so far as to say that the car is transformed. I actually heard wind noise at speed on the way home today rather than tire noise... for the first time ever.

If it isn't obvious, I'm REALLY happy with the PS4S so far.

I should give a shout out to Adds Wheel Warehouse who fitted the tires for me (I ordered from Tire Rack). Their attention to detail and care for my wheels was the best I've experienced.

Their apprentice who fitted the balancing weights noticed that he'd put silver weights on my wheels as they were putting the last wheel back on the car... They took them all off again and re-balanced them with black weights without me having to request it.

They also have the best tire fitting machine I've ever seen - The Hunter TCA34S. It's a centre mount rather than table top mount, has a system that gently and safely breaks the bead seal by turning the wheel with pressure applied to the top and bottom beads automatically, and then a lever-less system for removing the tire.

As I'd posted previously, I only just had my wheels repaired by Son Tran, so was nervous to get my tires changed. There was not a scratch on them afterwards, so I'm REALLY happy about that too.

Perfect thanks for posting.

I've got mine ready to mount just nervous as always.

I'm bringing in the wheels completely clean just not mounted.

I think what I'd look for going forward, is a place with a center mount machine that's also lever-less. Check out the videos of the Hunter machine I quoted above... It was truly impressive. The machine can also do up to 30" rims!

Of course it needs a careful user as well, and I'm sure it's also possible for a skilled user to not damage your wheels with a lower grade machine, but the risk is higher.

I checked out Adds before I got my tire order placed to make sure I'd be happy with their fitting; if advise you to do the same with someone local to you to give you peace of mind.

One last thing... Make sure the place you choose is happy to have you watch them work. If they've not got anything to hide, that will give you peace of mind and confidence in them as well.

Finally did my first off-cycle oil change with Motul 8100 X-CESS 5w40. Did the change at about 5,000 miles, give or take a few hundred miles. Idle is definitely smoother than before.
Hardest part was getting the car up the ramps. It was my first time using ramps. Didn't have a spotter either, so I ended up stalling once going up.
