I think the driving thrills is what will separate the CS from other M2's more so than the looks. One could only imagine the difference in power, feel, and suspension of the CS to a n55 M2.

People who have driven the M3 CS and M3 Competition note a notable difference. I can only imagine the power of the CS compared to my base n55 M2.

I'm still in for a CS if they'd ever open up allocations. My wife and daughter are now on the HS train, which makes me happy.

The more I dwelve into modding my OG M2 and the more I understand the attraction to a full factory package like the CS. Setting up my Ohlins is time consuming even through it's mostly a one time thing.

Only 2 things I'd find hard to swallow event thought it's better than the M4cs who loses way too much features.

1- No darker gray color (I'd go Misano because it's the exclusive color in the M2 range)

2-For past 100k here in canada, you stretch another 25-30k and your into cpo 911 GTS...

Yes this makes sense. A 911 GTS may look similar to a base carrera but will drive differently due to more power, etc. They may look alike, but the driving experience is different.

  • M2C:
    • standard: 60/40 foldable rear seats;
    • optional: 40/20/40 foldable rear seats with armrest (including open/close cupholders) & load-through;
  • M2 CS:
    • standard: 60/40 foldable rear seats.

I've been waiting for this car forever... I'm itching to get my hands on it and drive, it's going to be so much fun I hope they open the US allocations soon, I want to spec it!

If I was getting a CS, I would replace my HS M2C with a HS M2CS. Great choice!

I'm kinda surprised that both the videos posted show that cars are being ordered with CCB. I expected this to be an unpopular option. But hell, at €142k, what's another €8k.

I'm still going with gold wheels

Looks like Racing Brake is offering CCM discs for BMW. They look like surface transform discs. I'm guessing these could be purchased for 2NH?

The refurb cost is a nice benefit. I would argue that this would be a better way to go carbon than equipping the CS with CCB. In my opinion the surface transform rotors are superior to Brembo.

Nice digging, Dave! We gotta start summing up the tally with hopes to see what 'residual' is left for the US.

but it's quiet so....

At one point I had a deposit down on the Mini GP3. Declined fairly soon once I saw it was auto only (car like that needs 6MT IMO). However interesting, I was attempting the same, to nail the allocation, for nowhere near the 3000. Home country manufacture take precedence every time it seems....

UK 🇬🇧 - 575
USA 🇺🇸 - 500
Germany 🇩🇪 - 350
Japan 🇯🇵 - 240
Spain 🇪🇸- 100
Belgium 🇧🇪 - 100
Mexico 🇲🇽 - 100
Luxembourg 🇱🇺 - 14
France 🇫🇷 - 99
Italy 🇮🇹 - 75
Australia 🇦🇺 - 65
Canada 🇨🇦 - 59
Portugal 🇵🇹 - 35
Sweden 🇸🇪- 30
Thailand 🇹🇭 - 27
Czech Republic 🇨🇿 - 24
Vietnam 🇻🇳 - 8
New Zealand 🇳🇿 - 5
Finland 🇫🇮 - 2
Slovenia 🇸🇮 -2

Its always like that with the home country . But come on , they should at least offer it with manual , but cant make the 2 GC with a manual too ! Interesting that Luxemburg had 14 allocations and Finland only 2 !
