Wireless Charging/Mount questions
I've traditionally have cradle style phone holders/charger but want to have a nice clean install here. I've read through a lot of the forum threads on this topic and have a few questions.
1 - Is Rennline the way to go? 2 - If so, do I need the Exactfit mount and the wireless charger? Is there a bundle? 3 - Is the Rennline wireless charger magnet strong enough to hold an iphone 12 with magsafe case during spirited driving? 4 - where are you getting power for the charger behind the dash?

I use Rennline, and I definitely recommend it.
I ordered the Mount and the MagSafe add on from them. And I run the the power to the socket that’s hidden underneath the glove compartment. I use an iPhone 14 Pro Max, with a MagSafe case. You will have to add the extra ring magnet they give you to stick to the back of your phone case. The MagSafe on the case of your phone will work, but not as strong as when you stick that extra ring to the back of your case |

I have essentially the same set up as the poster above me. The rennline mount works great and looks clean. One thing to note is US cars don't have the 12v socket under the glovebox. I ran the cable under the passenger side of the center console and into the socket at the back of it.

1. I think it's the cleanest-looking mount out there.
2. When I got mine, there wasn't a bundle so I had to get a magsafe charger separately. 3. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and my mount never lost contact with my phone. Even when I'm on twisties (Japanese Touge) or drifting. It never fell off. 4. Mine is an EU spec M2 comp, and it doesn't have a 12V socket underneath the glovebox so I had to run the cable to the 12V in the back seat underneath the AC vents. I tucked the cable under the center console trim.

My car was originally a Canadian car with exec pack. I do have the 12v under the dash. Thank you all for the help!

No, I'm using the magsafe magnet built into the phone. No case.
